Peek Pro doesn't publish a price list. Your rate is set in a private agreement called a Service Order. According to Peek's terms, Peek takes a commission or a flat fee that it can calculate on your gross transaction value, including add-ons, tips, and convenience fees. Card processing is charged on top.
That makes "How much does Peek Pro cost?" hard to answer from the outside. This guide pulls together what Peek states in its own terms, shows how the fee base changes your real cost, and lists the questions to ask before you sign. It also compares cheaper alternatives that publish their pricing.
Full disclosure: we make Renta, one of those alternatives. Every Peek detail below links to Peek's own terms, so you can check our work.
How Peek Pro pricing works
Peek Pro pricing is quote-based. Peek's website has no pricing page, only a demo request, and you see your rate once Peek sends a Service Order. Its public terms spell out how the fees are built.
What Peek's terms say | Where | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
Peek earns a commission or a flat fee on all merchant services | §4.1.1 | Your rate is negotiated in your Service Order, not listed publicly |
Fees can be calculated on gross transaction value | §4.1.1 | The fee base can be bigger than your rental price |
That value includes ticket sales, add-ons, tips, convenience fees, and surcharges | §1.12 | Add-ons and tips can carry a fee too |
Card processing fees are not part of Peek's fees | §1.12 | Processing is charged on top of the commission |
Bookings through the Peek Activity Marketplace cost 20% | Marketplace addendum §3.1 | A $200 marketplace booking costs $40 |
Bookings through Peek's Reseller Hub cost 3% | Reseller addendum §3.1 | A separate fee for reseller channels |
Enrolling on Peek.com may raise your commission rate | §2.3.1 | Marketplace exposure can cost more on every booking |

What operators actually pay with Peek Pro
The commission is only the first line. Peek's terms describe several other costs and cash-flow rules that decide what actually reaches your bank account.
- Commission or flat fee. Set in your Service Order and taken out of your payouts before the money reaches you (§4.2).
- Card processing on top. Peek runs card payments through processors it chooses (§3.3), and those fees sit outside Peek's own fees (§1.12). Peek doesn't publish the processing rate.
- Channel fees. 20% on Peek Activity Marketplace bookings and 3% on Reseller Hub bookings (addenda §3.1).
- Chargebacks. Peek deducts the full chargeback plus any related fees from your next payout, and invoices you if the payout isn't enough (§4.4.1).
- A possible reserve. Peek may hold back a reserve from customer payments to cover chargebacks, in an amount it decides. Any remaining balance comes back with your final payment (§4.4.2).
- Payout timing. Payouts go out each business day, in US dollars, after fees (§4.2). With excessive chargebacks, Peek can delay payouts or change your payout plan (§4.4.2).
- The contract. Your initial term is set in the Service Order and renews automatically for the same length. To leave, you need to give written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before the term ends (§11.1).
None of this is unusual for a platform that processes payments for you. But it means your real cost depends on your rate, your fee base, the channels you use, and your chargeback history, not on one headline number.
What Peek Pro costs at your volume
Because Peek doesn't publish a rate, the useful question is what each 1% of commission costs you on Peek's fee base. Take an example month: $10,000 in rentals and tours, $1,000 in add-ons and $300 in tips.
Fee on bookings only | Fee on gross transaction value (allowed by Peek's terms) | |
|---|---|---|
Fee base | $10,000 | $11,300 |
Cost of each 1% of commission | $100 | $113 |
Multiply the bottom row by the rate in your Service Order. If $2,000 of that month came through the Peek Activity Marketplace, those bookings alone would cost $400 at 20%.
Here's the same month on Renta, which publishes its prices:
Cost line | Renta commission plan | Renta flat plan |
|---|---|---|
Platform fee to you | $0; riders pay a 2.5% Renta fee at checkout (about $275 on $11,000 of bookings and add-ons) | $300 a month; riders pay no Renta fee |
Card processing | Stripe, about 2.9% + 30¢ per payment | Same |
Contract | None; switch plans any time | None |
Renta says the two plans cost about the same at roughly $12,000 a month in bookings. Below that, the commission plan is the better deal; above it, the flat plan saves your riders money.
Questions to ask Peek before you sign
Get the answers in writing, ideally in the Service Order itself.
- What commission or flat fee will my Service Order set?
- Is it calculated on the rental price only, or on gross transaction value, including add-ons, tips, and convenience fees?
- What card processing rate will I pay on Peek Payments, and can I use my own processor instead?
- Will joining Peek.com or the Activity Marketplace change my commission rate?
- Will you hold a reserve for chargebacks? How much, and when is it released?
- How long is my initial term, and by what date do I need to send a non-renewal notice?
- Are there separate charges for channel connections, extra features, or onboarding?
If any answer is "it depends," ask for the number at your real monthly volume, in both peak season and off-season.
Cheaper Peek Pro alternatives
The simplest way to cut cost is to pick software that publishes its price, so you can do the math before you sign. These alternatives all list their pricing or fee model publicly.

|---|---|---|---|---|
Riders pay a 2.5% fee at checkout, or $300/month flat; no contract | $0 a month | Rental and guided-ride fleets: powersports, boats, bikes, kayaks | ||
Monthly plans, no commission on bookings | $29 a month billed yearly, or $35 monthly | General equipment rental shops | ||
One plan plus 3% per online booking | $99 a month | Rentals and tours that want waivers and SMS built in | ||
Customers pay a booking fee; the amount isn't published | No public price list | Tour-first operators |
All prices are US pricing in US dollars, checked October 27, 2026. Checkfront notes its price may vary by region and currency. Card processing applies on top for every tool.
