Deposits sized to the bike
Set a bigger deposit on a high-end e-bike than on a cruiser. Holds go on before pickup and are captured or released after the return.

Booked by size
Renters choose a bike and a frame size, then add a helmet, lock, child seat or trailer. Every add-on is on the booking and the payout.
Waivers for every rider
Each rider signs on their own phone from a link or a QR code at the counter, kids are routed to a parent, and e-bikes can use a different waiver from pedal bikes.
Fitted and sent out
Staff work through your pickup checklist (tires, brakes, battery charge), swap to another bike of the same model if the fit is wrong, and take condition photos.
Returned
Photos, extra charges and a work order for a bent derailleur, which takes that bike off the calendar until it's fixed.

Tune-ups on a schedule
Schedule tune-ups, brake bleeds and suspension service by number of rentals, miles or days, and see what's due before a bike goes out.
Self-serve pickup
Renters check in at a kiosk tablet, then get a lockbox code, or a per-booking code from an igloohome smart lock, to collect their bike.
QR tag on every bike
Print a QR asset tag per bike. Scanning it, or typing the frame serial, opens that bike's rental history, service log and condition photos.
Real-time availability
Every bike has live availability across your storefront and admin. Overlapping bookings are refused at checkout, and buffer time between rentals is respected.
Stripe payouts
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay go straight into your own Stripe account. You keep the customer relationship, and money lands in your bank, not ours.
